Location: Mamawmatawa Holistic Education Centre

Overview: Constance Lake Education Authority is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual who will provide regular cleaning and maintaining of the interior and exterior of the school building. Work hours will be full-time from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of Grade 10 or Equivalent Education or Training.
• WHMIS Certificate.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Knowledge and/or Experience in custodial environment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Must submit a Criminal Record Check according to CLEA Board Policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of school buildings and surrounding grounds except teacherages.
• Operate industrial vacuums and waxing machines.
• Wash windows, interior walls, baseboards, whiteboards, and ceiling.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Sweep. mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
• Keep walkways and entrances free of debris, snow and ice.
• Clean school grounds.
• Check and lock all doors and windows before leaving school.
• Perform any other duties usually required of a custodian.
• Quick response to call outs.
• Follow a work schedule.
