Dock Hand / Ground Worker / Fish/Hunt Camp Maintenance
Summary
Responsibilities include the preparing customer and cargo weights, loading and unloading of aircraft, small engine maintenance, outpost camp maintenance, light construction / repairs, supporting control with inventory documentation and full adherence to safety compliance regulations. Constant communication for flight preparation with dispatcher for getting loads ready and managing inventory.

Job Duties
• Handling of dangerous goods
• Small engine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Light carpentry/construction
• Operate lifting devices, e.g. forklifts, hoists
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, airplanes and lifting devices.
• Accurately ship and receive product
• Support inventory control with accurate documentation
• Complete time sheets
• Complete maintenance reports and maintenance status board
• Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
• Accurately weigh and document materials
Requirements
• Bilingual (French/English)
• Must have vehicle
• Small Engine repair experience and skill
• Experience with routine maintenance operations
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing (English)
• Able to work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

Work Conditions
• 6 days a week / availability may be required – schedule will be done according to customer bookings and flight scheduling.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lb in small spaces, up to 50 lbs at arms reach.
• Overtime as required
