We are hiring an Accounting Clerk- Assigned Accounts to join our Hearst, Ontario Finance team who will be responsible for the accuracy of assigned lubricants and fuel AR and AP sub-ledger.

What you will do:

• Generate sales orders for Shell delivery in Nav daily
• Obtain daily invoice/ buy-back download from vendor's portal and import into Nav ERP
• Ensure accurate matching of fuel and lubricants invoices to open bills of lading (BOL) and purchase order (PO) and ensure the accuracy of the sub-ledger accounts by following up and correcting any transactions
• Ensure accurate matching of lubricants credit memo with open sales invoice
• Follow up and correct any rejected transactions during the exporting process and reload
• Review details of general ledger (GL) clearing and follow up on any discrepancies daily
• Apply and match daily payment/refund batch into vendor account

Mandatory Requirement:

• College or University Diploma in Business, Accounting or Statistics
• 3 years experience in general accounting
• Proficiency using Microsoft office applications
• User experience with an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) platform
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and capacity to research/discover Excel formula
• Accounts Payable principles, procedures, and standards in a multiple cost center/multiple company environment
• General understanding of double-entry accounting, general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
